Day 1: Arrive in Paris

Welcome to France! Paris has global recognition as the world capital of cuisine, both traditional and the cutting edge. Upon arrival, a private driver will collect you from the airport. Check into your hotel and enjoy the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 2: Paris

Today you will enjoy a sweeping tour of Paris’ city center and witness sights including: The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Napoleon’s Column in the Place Vendome, Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens, Napoleon’s Tomb, La Sorbonne, among others. A photo stop will be included for the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Next, you will enjoy time in the fairytale Montmartre neighborhood for a superb wine and cheese tasting.

Day 3: Paris

Another beautiful day in Paris!

Your morning is at leisure to enjoy the city. This afternoon you will meet with a local chef who will walk you through the steps to prepare a complete French meal. From shopping the markets for local ingredients to cooking and enjoying a complete meal (with dessert!) this will surely be a memorable day of your trip. The best part is that your chef will be sharing delicious recipes that can be replicated at home!

Day 4: Paris to Avignon

After breakfast this morning you will check out of your Paris hotel, and make your way to Avignon.

For transportation, we recommend the quick and efficient rail system or a private driver-guide. The total journey by train takes approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival, check into your Avignon accommodation and enjoy this charming town.

Day 5: Avignon

Today is a full day to experience Avignon and the surrounding area.

This morning you will meet with another local chef to explore the markets and help select the ingredients for lunch today. Once everything is collected, you will continue onto his restaurant for a cooking demonstration with some participation. Luckily, again you will be able to enjoy the meal that’s been prepared. This is a wonderful opportunity to compare local Provençal cooking with the Parisian experience you already had.

This afternoon you will experience a tour of the local vineyards including multiple tastings. Each stop will include some history of the house, along with a visit to the cellars.

Day 6: Avignon

Today is a full day to explore at your leisure. Your destination specialist can assist you with sightseeing recommendations or optional day tours.

Day 7: Depart for Home

After breakfast, a private driver will collect you from your Avignon accommodations and bring you to the airport Departures Hall for your return flight home.
