Spanish Steps
The Spanish Steps are Rome’s most iconic staircase, where people like artists and lovers have met for centuries. The 138 steps lead up to Trinita dei Monti church where you have beautiful views of the city. At the bottom of the stairs you can view the Fontana della Barcaccia, or Fountain of the Old Boat. These steps date back to 1723 and are surrounded by shops and museums for you to visit. You can stop in Babington’s Tea Room and Restaurant for a meal or pastry or meal . However, visitors are no longer permitted to sit on the steps to have a delicious pastry so it can be preserved from further damage.
Piazza Navona
Originally built as a stadium during Emperor Domitians reign in the 1st century AD was paved over in the 15th century to what you visit today. You can visit three very famous fountains: Fontana del Moro, Fontana di Nettuno, and lastly Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi. Many people choose this location to hang out, relax, and people watch after exploring the historical and architectural pieces.
Pantheon

Trevi Fountain
Located in Via delle Muratte in the heart of Rome and only 10 minutes away from the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain is the most famous of fountains. The fountain is 85 feet tall and 161 feet wide with water flowing out of it into a large pool you can throw coins into. The legend is that you throw one coin and you will return to the Eternal City of Rome, two coins means you return and fall in love, and three coins of course, means you will return, find love, and marry. However, you do need to throw with your right hand over your left shoulder.
Colosseum & Arch of Constantine
The Colosseum is an incredibly large amphitheater made of stone from 72 AD, almost 2,000 years old. The amphitheater could hold over 50,000 spectators for entertainment of battles. You can even go inside and take a tour of the Hypogeum, where they had underground chambers and tunnels. Two minute walk from the Arch of Constantine. The Arch of Constantine is the largest and best preserved Roman triumphal arches.
