Welcome to the Azores! Over the years, the Azores Islands have been compared to green & patchwork Ireland, and considered “Europe’s answer to Hawaii.” Sao Miguel is the largest island of the Azores and it will be your home for the next 2 nights. A driver will collect you from the Arrivals Hall and bring you to your accommodations. After check in you will have the remainder of the day to explore at your leisure.
Today is a full day to explore Soa Miguel. We recommend you heading over to the west side of the island and taking a look at the picturesque Sete Cidades Lake and ending your day with a dip in the hot springs. Your destination specialist can assist you with finding the perfect plan.
Once you have enjoyed your breakfast and last morning in Sao Miguel, a private driver will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the Departure Hall. After the short 1 hour flight, a private driver will pick you up in Pico and take you to your new accommodations.
After breakfast, you will be able to spend the entire day in Pico. There are numerous things to do on this island from wine tours to volcano climbing to whale watching. Whatever you choose, your specialist will be there to help.
With Pico being located in the Central Islands of the Azores, there are 5 islands located so close to one another making it perfect for a day trip. We might suggest spending your second full day in Pico exploring one of the nearby islands; São Jorge, Terceira, Faial, or Graciosa. Your specialist can help you choose one of the endless opportunities to experience.
After your busy day yesterday, you are on the move again. After breakfast a private driver will take you to the airport Departures Hall for your next adventure. One you have arrived in Flores, a private driver will transport you to your accommodations. You will have the rest of the day to explore Flores as you wish.
Spend a full in Flores exploring the beautiful nature or unique local delicacies. Your destination specialist can help you find an exact plan for your day but we definitely recommend stopping by queijaria, the local cheese factory.
After breakfast a private driver will transfer you from your accommodations to the airport Departures Hall for your return flight home.
