Welcome to Portugal! Upon arrival a private driver will meet you at the airport Arrivals Hall and take you to your castle accommodation. We suggest staying at the 18th century palace Pestana Palácio do Freixo. Once checked in enjoy the remainder of the day exploring at your leisure.

The Douro Valley is known for its amazing Port wines. Spend the day wine tasting and sight seeing some of the numerous wineries they have to offer. A private driver will take you between wineries.

Enjoy the morning seeing the amazing sights of Porto with a full panoramic tour. Begin by getting familiar with the city’s historic heart on foot. You will pass landmarks such as Sé do Porto and the São Bento Train Station. Then make your way to the energetic waterfront at Foz do Douro and then across the river to the Serra do Pilar viewpoint. In the afternoon, a private driver will take you on a 3 hour drive to your accommodations in Sintra. We recommend staying at Tivoli Palacio de Seteais Hotel. This was built in 1787 as a residential palace but later became a hotel in 1955.
Enjoy the morning visiting some of the amazing historical sights of Sintra such as; Quinta da Regaleira, Monserrate Palace, or Palace of Sintra. In the afternoon take a trip to some of the local vineyards and cellars with an expert to guide you.

Today you will be heading to Lisbon. It is a short 30 minute drive away. Talk with your destination specialist to decide if you would like to spend the morning in Sintra or get started with your time in Lisbon. Check into your castle accommodation, Palacio Belmonte. Once settled, take a guided walking tour of Lisbon which will include some of the city’s gems-including the riverfront Praça do Comércio and the shopping district of Chiado.
A day full of wine tasting! Explore Lisbon’s local restaurants and wineries. Start off the day taking a walking tour through Lisbon to a few restaurants enjoying samples of traditional portugese food and delicious wines. In the afternoon, travel to wineries to taste some exquisite wines.
A private driver will transfer you to the airport Departures Hall for your flight home. Hopefully you purchased some delicious wine to enjoy at home to bring back memories of this extraordinary trip, and prepare to say “Farewell!” to the Portugal.
