Day 1: Arrive in Edinburgh

Welcome to Scotland! Upon arriving, check-in to your accommodations, and feel free to familiarize yourself with the capital by exploring with a Hop On/Hop Off Bus Tour.  Visit Edinburgh’s Acropolis and soak in the panoramic views from Calton Hill.  Finish the day in one of Edinburgh’s renowned restaurants.

Day 2: Edinburgh to Inverness

Enjoy the ultimate royal experience at the official Scottish residence of the King, the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Then journey north through the Highlands and soak in Inverness, which has all the elements for a memorable city stay.

Day 3: Inverness to Isle of Skye 

Embark on a journey to the west of Scotland and see the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, a Scottish icon and certainly one of the most popular visitor attractions in the Highlands. You can then enjoy the Isle of Skye, the largest of the Inner Hebrides and home to some of Scotland’s most beautiful landscapes.  Bring your sense of adventure!

Day 4: Isle of Skye 

Enjoy rugged mountains, picturesque fishing villages, and medieval castles that will take your breath away.  Do not miss the Trotternish Loop where you will see everything from the mystical Fairy Glen, to the Quiraing, to Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls, to Old Man Storr-just to name a few.

Day 5: Isle of Skye to Fort William

Any visit to the Isle of Skye is incomplete without enjoying the wealth of history and clan legend on offer at award-winning Dunvegan Castle and Gardens. You might also consider a trip to Armadale Castle-a romantic ruin surrounded by magnificent gardens. Finish your day in Fort William and indulge in a delicious seafood dinner.

Day 6: Fort William to Loch Lomond 

Set out through the awe-inspiring Glencoe and stumble upon locations for well-known films. This area of Scotland is truly other-wordly. Then discover the mesmerizing Loch Lomond that lies in the heart of Trossachs National Park. You will be surrounded by charming villages, rolling countryside, and hills. You can take in the beauty of the bonnie banks by thrilling water sport activities, trails for hikers and walkers of all abilities, and peaceful retreats.

Day 7: Loch Lomond to Edinburgh

Discover the beauty of Rosslyn Chapel, which was founded in 1446. Today it attracts visitors from far and wide, drawn by its unique and mysterious carvings and the beauty of its setting.  There are countless theories, myths, and legends associated with the Chapel, many of which are impossible to prove or disprove conclusively. Finish our tour in Edinburgh celebrating your incredible trip at a Scottish pub and enjoying a tipple of Scotland’s famous drink, whisky.

Day 8: Edinburgh to Dublin 

In the morning, a private driver will pick you up from your accommodations to take you to your next destination in Dublin. Once arrived, check in or leave your bags to begin sightseeing. Spend the day exploring at your leisure.

Day 9: Dublin to Galway 

In the morning, a private driver will pick you up from your accommodations to take you to your next destination, Galway! Consider exploring north of Galway town and visiting the Connemara Mountains and the charming Kylemore Abbey tucked into its hills. Or, stay in Galway itself and enjoy the lively cafes, shops, and coastline.

Day 10: Galway

Get out and explore all Galway has to offer! This city has a reputation for artistic creativity and up-tempo vibe that’s played out in a full calendar of festivals and events. Ask your Travel Specialist about festivals or events during the time you will be traveling.

Day 11: Galway to Killarney 

Indulge in a fabulous Irish breakfast and then head north to the historic Blarney Castle. According to legend, the stone has the power to give anyone who kisses it the “gift of the gab,” or eloquence. For a more relaxing experience, take a stroll through the Blarney Castle Gardens and Rock Close. You will then travel to the town of Killarney. When you get to your hotel, check-in, and explore this lovely town.

Day 12: Killarney

Have a delicious breakfast and then set out to explore more of Ireland. Drive the Ring of Kerry to witness some of Ireland’s most picturesque natural views. Hidden away in the southwest corner of the island, this is a true treasure trove, with dreamlike landscapes awaiting every lucky visitor. On this drive, see some of Ireland’s best features with jaw-dropping cliffs, rolling green hills, waterfalls, and patchwork fields.

Day 13: Killarney 

Perhaps stroll through the English Market, where vendors have been selling local and artisanal foods since 1788. Take a short drive to visit Blarney Castle where you can climb the winding stairs to kiss its famed stone, or stroll the gardens. Head to Kenmare, a tranquil country town of art galleries, craft shops and gourmet eateries. Continue on your way to Killarney, stopping at Moll’s Gap to enjoy the splendid views.

Day 14: Killarney to Dublin 

Eat a scrumptious breakfast and then make your way to the train station to catch your journey back to the capital of Ireland. Once in Dublin, get a taxi to your hotel and check-in, and then finish up any last minute souvenir shopping.
