Day 1: Arrive in Edinburgh

Welcome to Scotland! Upon your arrival in Edinburgh, immerse yourself in the Scottish culture. You may choose to explore the historic streets of Edinburgh, visit iconic landmarks like Edinburgh Castle, or take a tour of a local whisky distillery to taste the famous Scottish spirit.

Day 2: Edinburgh

Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, is filled with history and fascinating sights. Spend today sightseeing with a guided historical walking tour through the Royal Mile or take a stroll through the beautiful Princes Street Gardens. Your destination specialist can help you plan the perfect itinerary to make the most of your time in Edinburgh.

Day 3: Edinburgh to Inverness

After breakfast, check out of your Edinburgh hotel and head north to Inverness. Along the way, you have the option to visit Stirling Castle, the picturesque town of Pitlochry, or the breathtaking Cairngorms National Park. Once in Inverness, consider exploring the scenic beauty of Loch Ness or visit the Culloden Battlefield, where an important Jacobite battle took place.

Day 4: Inverness

Today, explore the wonders of Inverness and its surroundings. Take a boat trip on Loch Ness to search for the legendary Loch Ness Monster or visit the beautiful Urquhart Castle. Alternatively, you can explore the Black Isle or Glen Affric for stunning landscapes and wildlife.

Day 5: Inverness to Isle of Skye

Check out of your Inverness accommodation and make your way to the enchanting Isle of Skye. Along the journey, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the iconic Eilean Donan Castle or take a detour to the magical Fairy Pools for a refreshing hike. Once you arrive on the Isle of Skye, explore its dramatic landscapes, including the Quiraing, Old Man of Storr, and the Fairy Glen.

Day 6: Isle of Skye

Today is dedicated to exploring the breathtaking Isle of Skye further. You can choose to visit Dunvegan Castle, go on a coastal walk in Neist Point, or take a boat trip to spot seals and other marine life.

Day 7: Isle of Skye to Glasgow

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Isle of Skye and drive south to Glasgow. En route, you might want to visit the scenic Glencoe Valley or explore the historic Stirling, known for its castle and the Wallace Monument. Once in Glasgow, take in the vibrant city atmosphere and explore its museums, galleries, and vibrant street life.

Day 8: Glasgow

Enjoy a full day in Glasgow at your own pace. Consider visiting the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the Riverside Museum, or take a stroll along the River Clyde. You can also venture to the nearby Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park for some outdoor activities and stunning landscapes.

Day 9: Depart for Home

After breakfast, check out of your Glasgow hotel and head to the Glasgow Airport. Return your rental car and bid farewell to the beautiful landscapes and rich history of Scotland. Safe travels and have a wonderful journey home!
