Day 1: Arrive in Barcelona

Upon arrival at Barcelona airport, your private local driver will pick you up and drive you to your hotel. The day is at leisure for you to enjoy the city at your own pace.

Day 2: Highlights of Barcelona

Discover the fascinating world of modernist architect Antoni Gaudí on a private tour in the company of an expert local guide for 5 hours who will expose Gaudi’s extraordinary achievements. Learn about Gaudi and his iconic architectural style whose works have redefined and transformed the landscape of Barcelona, no less than seven have been listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3: Montserrat and Penedes Excursion

After breakfast, your private driver will be at your disposal with the best comfort of a private vehicle during your 8 hours tour today.

Montserrat is one of the main landmarks of Catalonia and offers 4 different parts for visiting: the Natural Park, which the most important point is the Mountain, with great beauty, the complex of the Abbey and Benedictine Basilica, the Black Madonna of Montserrat, an icon of Catalonia, and the famous Escolanía. Your private guide will show you the complex, including its interesting museum and if you are lucky enough to arrive in time, you will enjoy one of the oldest choirs in Europe, dating from the 13th century.

Later on, head to Penedes to discover the famous DOP of Catalonia. You will taste a delicious menu in a local restaurant with starters to share, the main course and a dessert, paired with good local wine.

Day 4: Barcelona to Valencia via High-Speed Train

In the morning, take a high-speed train to Valencia, a city that has been able to harmoniously combine the remnants of its farthest past, dating to the year 138 BC, with the most innovative and avant-garde buildings from the new millennium. Valencia is trade and culture, cinema, theatre, museums, magic, business. It is the center of international and avant-garde design, and one of the most active cities in Europe regarding fairs and conferences. Free afternoon at leisure.

Day 5: Valencia

Enjoy a private guided walking tour and discover the most noteworthy streets, squares and monuments of Valencia’s historic heart: Plaza del Ayuntamiento (City Hall square), Mercado Central (Central Market), Lonja (old silk exchange, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), Plaza Redonda, Palacio del Marques de Dos Aguas (the palace houses the National Ceramics Collection), Plaza del Patriarca, Cathedral, Plaza de la Almoina, Plaza de la Virgen and the medieval gateway known as the Torres de Serranos.

During the tour, we will stop for a sweet break to taste horchata (a typical vegetarian drink made of a local fruit called “Chufa”) with delicious fartons (sweet breadsticks) in an old traditional establishment. Your private guide will explain how to taste and what is behind this ancient formula.

Day 6: Valencia to the Balearic Islands

Take a domestic flight from Valencia to Palma de Majorca and arrive in 1 hour to the capital of the Balearic Islands. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Majorca

Your driver will pick you up and will be at your disposal for the excursion to enjoy in a full day tour discovering Majorca´s most beautiful sights. In the company of our private guide, we will drive towards Lluch Sanctuary, the first Sanctuary on the island that was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, dating back to the 13th Century. The sanctuary is an unexpected oasis of tranquility, of spirituality, artistic heritage, and of the unspoiled countryside scenery.

We will continue through a mountain road of the Tramontana range admiring dramatic and stunning scenery to go all the way down to La Calobra Beach, one of the highlights of Majorca Island. You will stop for lunch in a local restaurant, where you will be served products from the area, until it is time for your boat ride that will take you to Port Soller. Onboard of a comfortable motor catamaran, you will discover impressive cliffs, coves, and caves.

On arrival to Port Soller, a typical fishing harbor, you can decide whether to have a break, a short walk or riding the centennial tramway that will take you through orange and lemon groves to the charming town of Soller.

Day 8: Majorca

Your driver will pick you up and be at your disposal for a half-day private tour to Palma de Majorca. Meet your private guide and explore Palma de Majorca city center. Wander through the alleyways in the old town to admire some of the characteristic courtyards of the old Mansions of Palma. The best area to stroll through in Palma, while shopping in elegant shops, begins at Plaza de la Reina. Bellver is a Gothic castle, built in the 14th century by King James II of Majorca, and is one of the few circular castles in Europe. Used as a military prison from 18th to mid-20th century, nowadays is one of the main tourist attractions of the island, as well as the seat for the city’s History Museum.

The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma, more commonly referred to as La Seu, is a Gothic Roman Cathedral located in Palma, built on the site of a pre-existing Arab mosque. Next to the cathedral is the Palace of the Almudaina (former palace of the Kings of Majorca), a historical museum with a magnificent collection of tapestries from the Royal Tapestry Factory. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 9: Majorca

Day at leisure, to enjoy the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
