Today is a full day to explore Paris. Options are too numerous to list here, but your destination specialist can assist you in deciding how to spend your time.
No matter what, we recommend strolling along the Seine this evening to witness the City of Light all lit up!
Today is another opportunity to enjoy all that Paris has to offer. From cooking classes, architectural marvels, superb shops, and some of the best art museums in the world, you won’t be at a loss for options!
After breakfast this morning you will be departing from Paris, and making your way to the Normandy town of Bayeux. We recommend taking the train for a scenic, 2 1/4 hour ride.
Leave your bags with your accommodation and explore this historic town. With relics dating back to the year 1066, history buffs will delight in this special part of northern France.
Today will be a full day to learn all about the WWII victory that was found here. A private guide will bring you on a full tour including Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery, witness June and Gold beaches, and even a few German bunkers.
After an enlightening day, you will return to Bayeux for an evening at your leisure.
After breakfast this morning you will board the train to Avignon. Please be advised that the journey will be approximately 6 hours, and include 2 changes.
Once in Avignon, check-in to your accommodation and enjoy this charming town in Provence.
Today is a full day to explore Provence with your private driver-guide. He will collect you at your hotel, and bring you out to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Pont du Gard, ruins from ancient Roman occupation, the olive groves that Vincent Van Gogh used as inspiration for his famous paintings, and free time for lunch in a local market.
For summer tours, you may also visit a lavender farm or the beautiful Senanque Abbey.
Upon return to Avignon, you will be dropped off at your accommodation, and the evening is at your leisure.
After breakfast this morning you will take the train to Nice, the capital of the famous Côte d’Azur. Check into your hotel and set out to explore this seaside paradise.
Today is a full day to explore Nice and the surrounding area. Discuss with your destination specialist to decide whether you will want the full day at leisure, or to enjoy a day tour around the French Riviera. Sightseeing nearby includes Cannes, Antibes, Monte Carlo, and Monaco.
