Wine Tour of Central France Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Lyon
Welcome to France! Upon arrival, a private driver will collect you from the airport and bring you to your accommodation. Check In to your hotel and begin exploring the town! This afternoon you will meet a private guide for a food tour to sample some local delicacies.

Day 2: Lyon
Today is a full day to explore the Burgundy wine region. A private driver-guide will collect you from your hotel after breakfast and take you on a day tour of the best vineyards and wineries in the area.

Day 3: Lyon to Bordeaux
After breakfast today, you will make your way to Bordeaux. Options include a short flight or a private driver-guide. Flights are a little over an hour (not including time spent at the airports), and to drive would take approx. 5 hours without making any stops. Your destination specialist can help you decide the best option for you.

Day 4: Bordeaux
Today is a full day to explore the Bordeaux vineyards and wineries. Another private guide will collect you from your hotel after breakfast and take you on a sweeping tour of the area, including tours and tastings. It would be possible to attend an exciting class to create a blend of your own!

Day 5: Bordeaux
Today is another full day to explore the area, but this time it can be at your leisure. Bordeaux is a beautiful city filled with museums, a cathedral, public squares, and fountains. Spend the day wandering the streets of this historic city, enjoy leisurely dining, and do some shopping. Day 6: Bordeaux to Amboise
After breakfast today, you will take a high speed train north to Amboise, located in the central part of Loire Valley. Upon arrival, you can check in to your accommodation and enjoy the town at your leisure.

Today you will be introduced to another driver-guide, for an opportunity to explore the vineyards and wineries of this area. Enjoy tours and tastings, as you explore this beautiful region. You will have a unique vantage point to be able to see the similarities and differences of the Bordeaux wine culture.

Day 8: Amboise
Today is another full day to explore this enchanting place. The Loire Valley is more than fabulous wine! Today you will tour two grand Chateaux and learn about their storied histories. Afterward, return to Amboise for one last night in France!

Day 9: Depart for Home
The time has come to say “Farewell!” to la belle France. After breakfast, a private driver will collect you from your accommodation and bring you to the airport for your return flight home.
