Juniper is a fully-private, custom travel agency — but once in a while we host a small group on a route we love. This is one of them: eleven unhurried nights from Tokyo to the temples of Kyoto, the food of Osaka and a hot-spring ryokan near Mt Fuji, all fully guided. The two departures follow the same route — only the season, and one day in Kyoto tuned to match it, differ.
Named hotels or a comparable alternative, subject to availability. Every room can be booked for single or double occupancy.

For a few short weeks each spring, Japan turns pale pink and the whole country steps outside to greet it. Blossom-lined castle moats, temple gardens drifting with petals, evening hanami under the trees — the sakura are the most sought-after, and most fleeting, sight in the country.
This departure is timed to travel with them — a half-day of Kyoto's temples and gardens at their peak, and the blossoms threaded through Tokyo and Osaka along the way.
Departing April 5 – 16, 2027, from $7,850 per person based on double occupancy (single supplement $1,500). The group is capped at 20 guests, and a $1,500 deposit at the time of booking guarantees your space. Send your details and a Juniper Japan specialist will walk you through the rest.
